ABOUT US

Rebuild Aid Association was founded on July 7, 2012, in Aarhus.

At the General Assembly for the formation of the Association, 65 people attended who had an interest in social and humanitarian work.
The Association aims to:
– Actively participate in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
– Provide humanitarian work and assistance to victims of military operations in Afghanistan. Build capacity in the local community, primarily in Ghor province.
– Develop partnerships through continued dialogue and cooperation with the community.

Since the formation of the Association, our main activities have been to develop partnerships with the local community in Afghanistan.
In cooperation with our partner organization in the community, we have assessed the need for humanitarian work and the need to ship equipment to schools, hospitals, health clinics, and other public institutions in Ghor province.
We have discussed options with our local partner organization on how Rebuild Aid Association can assist with the reconstruction of Afghanistan, particularly in Ghor province, and how we can support capacity building in the local community, primarily in Ghor province.

Since 2012, through our local partner organization, we have had the opportunity to expand our cooperation with other NGOs, other partners, and other public institutions in Ghor province and other provinces in Afghanistan.
We have also worked on raising awareness about our association here in Denmark to others who have shown interest in Rebuild Aid Association and its purpose.

Wheelchair for women

In this round of our shipment, we, in collaboration with our local partner organization, Jameghor Charity Organization (JCO), have had the opportunity to donate wheelchairs primarily to women.

It has been one of our clear goals to ensure that women benefit as much as possible from our shipments and projects. This is also why we have courses primarily for female participants, including English learning, sewing courses, human rights, and other relevant courses.

We continue to strive to help as many Afghan women as possible.
